When I set off to Japan in October, I had the chance to sit down with the Hiroi brothers from Hiroi Koi Farms aka Yozaemon.
Owners: Kazuyoshi Hiroi and Nobuaki Hiroi
Founded: Around 1938
Specialty: Ginrin Goshiki, Ginrin Showa, Kohaku, Showa, Sake, Kikusui, Doitsu Ochibashigure, and more.
Description: One of the reasons for this farm’s popularity definitely rests in the fantastic quality and wide range of varieties available. Their Goshiki and Ginrin Goshiki have won many awards at Koi shows.
